Water system governance and decision-making
What is the role of local water system governance in creating, maintaining, and potentially solving drinking water inequities? Despite a growing interest in, and recognition of, the importance of water governance in shaping outcomes, water system governance has been under-explored as a factor mediating performance including Safe Drinking Water Act compliance and affordability. This project seeks to interrogate socio-political dimensions of system performance including representation, civic engagement, and institutional design.Â
